Water-impermeable fabric as a sub-layer for artificial turf sports fields

This specially designed fabric is applied under the artificial turf and serves several purposes that contribute to the optimal performance of the sports field.

The primary purpose of the Stansa® 161 is that its water impermeability allows it to capture water and drain it in a controlled manner. Because of its waterproof properties, the fabric prevents water from sinking the soil, which can cause subsidence or uneven loading of the field. For example, on a heated soccer field where melt water from snow can run off in a controlled manner.
