A Review of GalaBau & the Trade Fair 2026
Over the past month, we travelled to Nürnberg and Utrecht for trade fairs: Galabau and the Public Space Trade Fair. Two different trade fairs, but with the same aim: to meet existing clients, make new contacts and showcase our products and applications in practice.
Whilst we used to be recognised by our green stands, this year it was time to introduce our new corporate identity at the trade fairs; Orange rules ;-)
Interesting conversations and great solutions
During GaLaBau, we had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from various countries to our orange stand over the course of four days. They were enjoyable and busy days at the trade fair, filled with interesting conversations with both familiar and new faces.
GaLaBau also offers us a great opportunity to see what’s happening within the international green sector. There was plenty to discover not only at our own stand; the stands, products and presentations from other companies once again provided plenty of inspiration.
At the Public Space Trade Fair, we met many local authorities, for whom Japanese knotweed is a key issue. Once again this year, there was a great deal of interest in our solution to combat this invasive alien species. And, of course, our roll-out root barrier was a must-see; many green space professionals face the problem that traditional root barriers are time-consuming and costly, whilst RollRib offers an excellent solution.
At both trade fairs, we organised a game where visitors had to lift a roll of HDPE and a roll of Amphibarrier. Can you guess the difference in weight? If so, you’ll win a KING goodie. This interactive approach allowed us to strike up a conversation about our lightweight alternative to HDPE for amphibian protection.
Looking back on a successful trade fair season
We can look back on a busy, but above all successful, trade fair season. From international meetings in Nuremberg to discussions with professionals from the Dutch public space sector in Utrecht: both trade fairs offered ample opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand in Nuremberg or Utrecht. It was great to catch up with existing contacts, make new ones and demonstrate our products and applications in practice.
And, of course, thanks also to our team for their hard work before, during and between both trade fairs.
In January 2027, you’ll find us again at infratech in Rotterdam, stand 5.404. We hope to see you there!
